Inspector Ike

  • Bottlerocket Social Hall 1226 Arlington Avenue Pittsburgh, PA, 15210 United States (map)

Tickets and more info here.

Inspector Ike, New York City’s greatest police detective, finds himself in a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse after the conniving understudy of an avant-garde theater group knocks off the star actor. A “lost TV movie” from the 1970’s, INSPECTOR IKE mixes visual gags, slapstick, gross food, and heartfelt emotion. Think COLUMBO meets THE NAKED GUN, featuring a rogue's gallery of NYC's best comedians (including John Early, Aparna Nancherla, and Stavros Halkias!)

Following the film there will a Q&A with
Graham Mason (Director, Co-Writer), Ikechukwu Ufomadu (Inspector Ike), Matt Barats (Harry Newcombe)

Bottlerocket Says
I am so excited for this- an awesome indie movie (with a whole cast of some the best up and coming comics in the scene), with a 70's aesthetic (hey that sounds like our bar), doing a one off screening, with a Q&A to follow! All for just $5! Interested in what it's like to actually make a full length microbudget indie film (and do it really really well)? Then this event is for you!
