If there are indeed an infinite number of alternate universes, there must be a place where Columbo never left the airwaves, right? Let Inspector Ike answer that question...in the form of a mystery. After an understudy eliminates the competition by taking out his thespian frenemy, it seems like he’s evaded any whiff of foul play, until New York City’s greatest detective--an affable, champagne-swilling, chili-cooking gumshoe named Ike (Ikechukwu Ufomadu)--picks up the scent. With a cast plucked liberally from NYC’s comedy underground, Inspector Ike offers a whodunit that’s more slow-cooked than hard boiled. So settle in for a bone-warming yarn that’s comfier and more 70s-toned than a turtleneck under a worn corduroy jacket. - Jonathan Kieran
