Spiegelworld, the team that brought you the controversial comedy-circus hit ABSINTHE now it its fifth sold-out year at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, is bringing their latest gambit Vegas Nocturne to Los Angeles for just four nights in October for workshops at The Three Clubs in Hollywood.
Directly back from a month long run at Edinburgh Fringe in August and shows at New York's Slipper Room & Union Hall in July, where Steve Bennett from Chortle UK called Vegas Nocturne, "A deliciously awkward take on cheesy show business," and said, "The Rat Pack was never like this!"
Spiegelworld originally created the show at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas inside a custom built venue called Rose. Rabbit. Lie. where a larger production of Vegas Nocturne performed for seven months in 2014. In its new guise, the creators are exploring the subtle and not so subtle absurdities of Vegas show business artifice with contemporary physical comedy and deliciously uncomfortable interactions. The Arts Award Voice proclaimed it, "Outrageously funny and so really unpredictable!"
Vegas Nocturne will be performing at 7:30 PM on October 25, 27, 28 & 30 at The Three Clubs at 1123 Vine Street in Hollywood. For these special workshops the ticket price is only $12. For more information visit www.vegasnocturne.com.
